2 leaves - cyclostyled copy of a letter signed by Field Marshall Roberts with an embossed crest of the British Goverment on both leaves glued together in the top left hand corner, the 2 leaves are starting to wear, the second one has a tear
The letter, signed by Field Marshll Roberts, praises the comrades he has been associated with over the past year - he gives " profound appreciation of the noble work they have performed for their Queen and Country." He is about to give up command of the army in South Africa to General Lord Kitchener of Khartoum.
