1065 pages, thick 8vo (250 x 165 mm), numerous line drawings, but lacking the 37 plates called for, recent mottled leather with decorative gilt and red title labels gilt on the spine, marbled top edge, gauffred fore edge and bottom edge, light foxing on the fore-edge, a very good copy.
